Te Tau Ihu ō Te Waka

Te Tau Ihu ō Te Waka is a song that is special for the Nelson-Tasman region, because it was written for us! I can't acknowledge the author because I haven't been able to find out who they are just yet. If you have any ideas, please let me know!

This waiata welcomes and encourages people to come and relax in our place.

We are lucky to have wonderfully talented kapa haka students who performed this waiata for us (but you should see the bloopers!)

Thank you Nina, Cara, Pene, Tayla, Milla and Georgia for recording this waiata for us.

You can click here to find the kupu (translation available soon).
